Jealous Makes Closing Arguments on Governor’s Race

It’s finally Election Day, and when votes are totaled tonight, we should have the answer to a number of questions.

    It really doesn’t matter much whether a Republican or a Democrat becomes Governor of Maryland. The General Assembly consists of a veto proof majority of Democrats. There are 35 Democrats to 12 Republicans in the Senate and 98 Democrats to 43 Republicans in the House of Delegates. (It takes 3 fifths to override a veto). I’m sure the Democrats knew this so many of them voted for Hogan since he can do no harm~ so to speak. Hogan had most if not all of his vetoes over ridden in his first term. Maryland’s legislature is still in control of Maryland.
