After a scare at a high school football game at Greenway Avenue Stadium a few weeks ago that saw an official injured with no ambulance on the scene- a press release from the Allegany County Board of Education stated that from now on- that would not be an issue and that coverage would be provided. A caller to WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” Friday reported however that that was not the case for a couple of playoff soccer games this past week. WCBC News contacted the Board’s communications office to confirm the information. A response from the board said that it was an oversight as these were playoff games that were not listed on the regular schedule.
