Man charged in Bedford shooting incident

The Cumberland Times News reports an Everett man has been charged in connection with shots fired Tuesday night outside the Hampton Inn in Bedford where Milwaukee activists were staying. Authorities said Jeremy William Decker, 43, was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and a firearms violation. According to state police in Bedford one witness said they saw Decker brandish a firearm through the open window of his truck and fire several shots in the air. Troopers later identified the driver from video footage. No injuries were reported. About 30 people are traveling to the Washington, D.C., Black Lives Matter event.
