MD AG moving ahead with legal action against US postmaster

Despite the U.S. Postmaster announcing that he has suspended recently proposed changes that would delay mail delivery service, Maryland will continue to pursue a lawsuit challenging operational cutbacks. Democrats have charged that newly-installed Postmaster Louis DeJoy, an ally of President Donald Trump, had moved to slow postal services to hamstring the delivery and return of mail-in ballots, which are expected to be used heavily in the November election. After much pushback and strong criticism across the board, DeJoy announced Tuesday he will halt those changes. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh responded by saying that  the suit would proceed despite the announcement. Trump has repeatedly claimed without evidence expanded mail-in voting would lead to widespread fraud. Frosh said Trump’s claims are nonsense and clearly politically motivated…

    There is evidence. Postal workers have been arrested, people have been arrested for voter fraud yet you say there is “no evidence”? Pathetic reporting by WCBC or whomever this report came from. Black Panthers guarding polling locations in Philadelphia in 2012 is condoned.
