The District 1 Legislative Delegation met with the Maryland Department of Health yesterday morning, concerning the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine that did not include UPMC Western Maryland or Garrett Regional Medical Center among the initial recipients.
That plan did not change as a result of what was called an emergency meeting. One of the participants was Deputy Maryland Health Secretary Dr Jinlene Chan, who apparently expanded the definition of the first round of vaccine to include the upcoming shipments of Mederna immunizations…
