MD Treasurer Voices Support for Hogan COVID Mandates

During a recent COVID-19 update, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan said people have no right not to wear a mask during the pandemic, directing his statement at those who he said are refusing to listen to public health advice. Hogan likened those arguing against wearing masks to someone who might claim they have a constitutional right to drive drunk or not to follow the speed limit. He also asked, rhetorically, which part of the mask recommendation did people not understand, citing the number of people who have died from the coronavirus.
