Isn’t this something that the CEDC/ADC should be doing? This is something that the Downtown Mall Manger should be doing? Instead of creating a new task force shouldn’t we use the tools we already have?
Lets just hope Mayor Morriss has more success reopening Cumberland than he did the Washington Street Bridge!

Kevin, do you really think the downtown project is even going to happen? I’m guessing it won’t even start for 18 months to 2 years if then. They were already millions short on the project and with the pandemic the money will not exactly be flowing. And how many of the existing downtown businesses will even survive when thng is over? Will the CC Mall even be able to re-open, other than WalMart?

People wonder why the region keeps struggling with the same topics we’ve been dealing with since the 1990s, well we keep using McClarran & Williams Inc to promote our community. Those two fat cats act as gatekeepers to the area and the only projects they get a check from gets approval.
