The Garrett County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Division arrested a pair of local residents early Saturday on a number of charges after a traffic stop.
40 year old Brenda Shiflett, of Terra Alta, and 36 year old Derek Steffan, of Oakland, were found to be in possession of fentanyl and paraphernalia, and both were wanted for failing to appear for trial.
Shiflett missed her court date in Allegany County, Steffan in Garrett County.
