Police respond to disturbance; make drug arrest

On Friday, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a breaking and entering complaint in the 300 blk of Grand Avenue.  When an officer arrived, he observed a female and male yelling in the area.  The female, identified as Jerai Monique Foulks, continued to yell and create a disturbance to neighbors despite several warning by the officer.  Foulks was arrested for disorderly conduct and was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial at District Court.

CDS Arrest

 

On Friday,  the Cumberland Police Department arrested Tiffany Marie Murdock for CDS possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, CDS possession of suboxone, and CDS paraphernalia.  The arrest was made while assisting the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office with a suspected overdose on National Highway.  Murdock was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own personal recognizance pending trial at District Court.
