One of the charges was; Willful Motor Vehicle Damaging Without Owners Consent.

That can only mean that Willful Motor Vehicle Damaging with owners consent is allowed and not illegal.

I am available to damage your motor vehicle as long as I have your consent. I will supply my own sledge hammer.

I always fall back on this. It is succinct and always true.
