Prices at the Pump holding steady heading into the holidays

December 21st, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Maryland gas prices haven’t changed much in the last week, as many residents get ready to hit the roads for the year-end holidays. Most areas in Maryland are seeing prices within a few pennies of just one month ago. AAA forecasts that motorists can expect gas prices to edge cheaper in the coming weeks.

The gas price average in Maryland today is $2.45, which is up one cent in the last week, down two cents from last month, and up 16 cents from this date last year. In Cumberland, the price dropped a penny from last week down to $2.70.

Today’s national gas price average is $2.55, down respectively a penny in the last week and four cents in the last month, but up 19 cents from this time last year.

This has been going on for years, I have tracked it. WHERE IS OUR REPRESENTATIVES AT, IS THE KICK BACKS / DONATIONS THAT STRONG FROM THE FOLKS FIXING THE PRICE?????? We are the ONLY area on that grid that the price has gone up substantially during the last month. WCBC Powers (Mr. Norman), PLEASE look into this for the community. Thanks!

It isn’t just Sheetz’s practice. I wanna know why you can go up the hill to Grantsville and get it for 2.55 or I to res apt own at Circle K and get it for about the same price as Pilot. I don’t buy what the markets are. It’s the same gas coming from dead reptiles from thousands of years ago.
