Proposals from potential School Board legal reps leaked

March 4th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

WCBC News has learned some of the details of the proposals provided to the Allegany County Board of Education by the two law firms competing to represent the board. The two groups are the current interim presentatives of Geppert Mcmullen Paye and Getty and the former longtime board attorney Gary Hanna. A source familiar with the proposals revealed that Hanna’s proposal calls for a hire hourly rate and also would require health insurance. In addition to the lower rate, the firm of Geppert McMullen Paye and Getty is not asking for any of its attorney that may represent the board to receive health coverage. The board is expected to conduct interviews with the two firms late this month in closed session and make an announcement shortly afterward.

Can’t imagine which amigo leaked confidential information. Hmmmm. Does someone on the board have a history of that? Shocking!

A source only has power if a news agency prints it. WCBC could have said “There is a leak but we will not print it”. The leak should be ashamed of themselves.

It seems to me that you people are assuming that one or all three amigos are involved in everything bad. What if the problem is with one of the two women

      > History as a guide suggests it is not the women. Nothing leaked is favorable to them or the board. It is only leaked to put Amigo 1,2,or 3 in a favorable light. No one has leaked Bohn’s efforts to increase the fees to chiropractors yet? I wonder why?
