Tighter restrictions on mask wearing begin at 5PM

July 31st, 2020 by WCBC Radio

As of 5 p.m. Friday, face masks are required in public spaces of all businesses in Maryland and in outdoor public areas whenever it is not possible to maintain physical distancing.

Gov. Larry Hogan on Wednesday expanded existing orders to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Read the governor's expanded face mask order.

"Wearing a mask is the single-best mitigation strategy that we have to fight the virus, and the science and the data are very clear: It's the best way to keep you and your family safe, to keep people out of the hospital and to keep Maryland open for business," Hogan said in a Wednesday news conference.

In Ocean City, Mayor Rick Meehan issued a declaration requiring face coverings on the boardwalk.

Thing is you can’t mandate common sense and decency or concern for others. The virus will continue to spread more & more because all these childish, ignorant Trumpers say it’s their ‘RIGHT’ to infect others.

In this day and age it’s probably not reasonable to expect people to come together.
The amazing thing here is that the easiest way to defeat Covid-19 is to do nothing. Stay at home. Light the grill. Wait this out. WAIT!!
