The National Weather Service has our area under a Tornado Watch until 6 PM.
A High Wind Warning remains in effect through 6 PM this afternoon, and until 8 PM this evening in the mountains.
Southwest winds will blow at 20 to 35 miles an hour with an occasional gust up to 60 miles an hour. At that rate, trees and limbs will blow down, and that means power outages.
