Traffic stop leads to three drug arrests

On 06.30.2020 at approximately 1:00 PM, Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office were on patrol on Interstate 68 east of Cumberland. Deputies observed a vehicle being driven west bound, erratically, at speeds over 90 MPH. A traffic stop and subsequently a K9 scan of the vehicle was conducted which led to a search of the vehicle. 

 

Deputies discovered that the occupants were in possession of approximately 40 grams of heroin contained in 60 capsules as well as an amount of marijuana and hypodermic needles. 

 

The occupants were identified as the following:

Sydney Marie Glotfelty, 19 years old of Grantsville, MD

Bryan Lynn Miller Sr., 34 years old of Lonaconing, MD

Zachary Ryan Haer, 24 years old of Grantsville, MD

 

All three occupants were arrested and charged with the following:

Possession of Heroin w/Intent to Distribute

Conspiracy Possession w/Intent to Distribute Heroin 

Possession Large Amount of Heroin

Possession of Heroin

Possession Paraphernalia

 

The arrestees were detained at the Allegany County Detention Center and are pending an initial appearance in District Court.
