Let’s Beautify Cumberland! will be joining The Canal Place Preservation Authority for the 4th of July Festivities at Canal Place. LBC! is sponsoring DJ Mark Stevens, who will be playing patriotic music during the Fireworks which follow the Potomac Concert Band which begins at 7:30 p.m. Some chairs will be available, but it is recommended that attendees bring their own seating. Free parking will be provided by The Cumberland Times-News at their lot on South Mechanic Street.  WCBC Radio and will broadcasting live the evening’s musical events and fireworks on 1270AM and 103.1FM. 

Cumberland Historic Cemetery Organization will hold a history-based event in Cumberland at 400 South Allegany Street at 10 a.m. Honoring American Revolution patriots from the area including Captain David Linn.
