The ACM Foundation of Allegany College of Maryland has established a special scholarship to help those impacted by flooding. Foundation members came together to develop and support the scholarship to help those affected by the disaster in the western part of the county.  Courtney Jensen, Foundation Director, said the scholarship will assist with those struggling through the flood recovery phase with continuing their education…

“Based on the needs that we see, we’ll try to assess the best that we can. It’ll be on a case by case basis, trying to support students even outside the traditional credits. Even if we see needs with some of our CE students, we’ll assess it based on need.”
