Allegany College of Maryland ranks third in the state for scholarship support for its students. Just behind Montgomery and Howard County Community Colleges, ACM provides proactive help to students through more than 250 scholarships annually. “So we are third in the state in scholarships. We give out over 2.5 million dollars every year in scholarships to support our students. And if you look at scholarships per FTE which is a more equitable comparison, you’re able to see that for our size, we more than double the next college.”
