Archery hunting season begins this month for white-tailed deer in Maryland and its neighboring states. Maryland’s white-tailed and sika deer archery season will begin Thursday, September 5th, running through the end of the year with breaks for muzzleloader and firearms season.. Pennsylvania will open their archery season for white-tailed deer Saturday, September 20th, and West Virginia’s season begins a week later on Sunday, September 27th.
