The Baltimore Street Revitalization Project has earned international recognition.  The International Economic Development Council awarded the project a 2025 Bronze Excellence in Economic Development Award in the Real Estate Redevelopment & Reuse category.  Matt Miller, Executive Director of Cumberland Economic Development Committee says the award is a testament to the City’s work. “When we submitted our application, we were like number 5,200 and some crazy number.  It’s a very competitive award and I believe there were 50 awardees total that were selected, and we received the bronze award.  It puts Cumberland on the national stage and underscores the importance of the work we are doing here together.”
