The University of Maryland Center for Environmental science released its annual report card on the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. The report indicates an overall grade of C in the 19th yearly study. The grade is lower than last year but the overall trend has shown improvement over the past decade. Better management and restoration efforts along with improved wastewater treatment plants bode well for the bay’s future.
