On Monday, December 22 the Allegany County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and members from the Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police combined warrant unit executed a search warrant on Bedford Street in Cumberland to locate a subject wanted on a Federal arrest warrant.  38 year old Nikita Loraine Bible of Cumberland was taken into custody inside of the residence. The arrest warrant stemmed from a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) investigation that resulted in charges related to distribution of CDS.  The roadway was temporarily shut down until the operation was complete.
