A group of area pastors has organized a candlelight prayer vigil for this evening, beginning at 8pm to pray for national healing.  The event will take place at Cumberland’s City Hall Plaza between Frederick and Bedford Streets. The vigil follows the death earlier this week of Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative political activist and head of Turning Point USA. He was shot on Wednesday during an outside speaking engagement in Orem, Utah.
