May 21st, 2025 by WCBC Radio

On Monday, May 19, 2025 at approximately 7:00 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Virginia Avenue for a vehicle that was reported stolen to the Frostburg Police Department.  Officers searched the area and later located the vehicle at a business on W. Industrial Blvd.  Police contacted the occupants who were identified as Kaylee Douglas and another female subject.  The occupants were found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl and related drug paraphernalia.  They were arrested and transported to Central Booking.  The Frostburg Police Department filed an application for charges against Douglas regarding the stolen vehicle and an arrest warrant was issued and served on Douglas.  At Central Booking, Douglas was found to be in possession of additional CDS.  It was later determined that the other female had provided false identifying information to officers and that her true identity was Mystere Wells.  Police learned that Wells had four active warrants through various counties in Maryland and Virginia.  An application for charges was filed at the District Court of Allegany County and a criminal summons was issued.  Wells was served with the summons and warrants. Douglas and Wells were held without bond.
