The City of Cumberland Zoning Board Appeals is seeking to fill a Board member vacancy. This membership seat requires City residency and the availability to attend periodic meetings. The Zoning Board of Appeals is a 5-member board appointed by the Mayor and City Council, established to hear and decide appeals to decisions made by the Zoning Administrator in the enforcement, interpretation or administration of the Zoning Ordinance. Each Board member serves a 3-year term and is paid $25 bi-weekly, with the Board meeting on an as-needed basis.
