The Cumberland Mayor and City Council took action this week to order a “blight action plan." The unanimous vote will allow the city to contract with West Virginia University Land Use & Sustainable Development Law Clinic for the development of a plan to address blight. The cost of the blight action plan will be $31,214, which will be paid for by state grants.
