The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce held its first Civics Bee Saturday in cooperation with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Civic Trust. Held at the Zimmer Theater at Allegany College, five area students competed for the chance to advance to the state level. Finishing in first was Myles Thomas, followed by sisters Abigail Ditto and Zoe Ditto. The three top finishers will move on to compete at the state level in June at Bowie State University.
