US Sixth District Congresswoman April McClain Delaney has released a statement following her vote against the Energy and Water Development Act. She said cuts in the bill to the Department of Energy’s Efficiency and renewable Energy programs risks raising energy bills for families. In Maryland, over $2 million dollars would be lost that help residents lower utility costs and support energy-related jobs.
