The Cumberland community gathered yesterday at Veterans Park for Memorial Day Services. Cadets from the Civil Air Patrol Cumberland Composite Squadron provided the Honor Guard and presentation of Colors. Ed Mullaney co-chair of Let's Beautify Cumberland was the Master of ceremonies. An unveiling and dedication service was conducted by the Cumberland Garden club and the National Garden club of a Blue Star monument for those service men and women currently deployed and a Gold star monument for those who gave all in defense of the United States of America.
