Update: October 29, 2025 at 3 a.m. The Cumberland Police Department is still actively conducting a search for Jessica Roman. We are being assisted by the Department of Emergency Services, Maryland State Police, and other allied agencies. Residents in the South End should expect to see an increase of Emergency Personnel in the area conducting searches. The Cumberland Police Department is asking that residents in the area check their surveillance systems, and report any tips or information to the Cumberland Police Department.

Report: October 28, 2025 at 1 p.m. The Cumberland Police Department, Cumberland Fire Department and  Allegany County Emergency Management Services is working in conjunction on a large scale search for Jessica Marie Roman (age 36) who has been reported missing to the Cumberland Police Department.  She was last seen in the E. Mary Street area at approximately midnight this morning.  She is described as a white female, approximately 5-6. 140 lbs with dirty blonde hair.  She was wearing a green sweater, and black shorts.  Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600.
