From the Maryland State Fire Marshal

A tragic house fire in Allegany County has resulted in a fatality. 

Firefighters from the Frostburg Fire Department and several other nearby departments responded to a reported dwelling fire in the 300 block of Center Street. Firefighters later located a victim inside the home.

The scene remains active, and a team of Deputy State Fire Marshals and K9 Blondie is en route.
