The Seneca Rocks Discovery Center in West Virginia will be holding their annual Discover Nature Day on Saturday, June 7th. Communication Director Ben DuVall-Irwin says the day is free for anyone interested in the National Forest…

“This is about getting kids and families involved in nature with hands-on activities for them to learn about animals, plants, geology, outdoor recreation, heritage. Anything and everything you can do in nature.”

Morgan Tracy is one of the coordinators for the event. She says other organizations will also be on hand…

“There are going to be live animals like raptors and snakes. Macro organisms I believe are coming as well. So, like the smaller animals in streams.”
