Final Funding Piece For New Allegany HS Approved

The Maryland Board of Public Works Wednesday approved the final funding piece for the new Allegany High School- releasing an additional $3.9 million for the project.  The $52 million construction project is on schedule for a fall of 2018 opening.  Shade, along with Board of Education President Laurie Marchini; Superintendent David Cox; Facilities Director Vince Montana and Delegate Jason Buckle were all in attendance at the meeting, presided over by Governor Larry Hogan.  Shade called the nearly decade long effort to finalize the project – a true team effort…
