The Maryland Board of Public Works Wednesday approved the final funding piece for the new Allegany High School- releasing an additional $3.9 million for the project. The $52 million construction project is on schedule for a fall of 2018 opening. Shade, along with Board of Education President Laurie Marchini; Superintendent David Cox; Facilities Director Vince Montana and Delegate Jason Buckle were all in attendance at the meeting, presided over by Governor Larry Hogan.
