FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM THIS MORNING

National Weather Service report s small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues in portions of western Maryland, including the following county, Allegany and eastern West Virginia, including Mineral. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
- At 738 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is already occurring in the warned area.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
