Western Maryland continues to expand its footprint in the state’s cannabis industry. This week, CannaBarons LLC, a cannabis processor announced it is developing a new facility within the McHenry Business Park in the former Medco building. The partners in the business, Damean Freas and Scott Wiesenberger said the business plans to create at least 50 full-time jobs. The project received assistance from the Senator George Edwards Fund.
