Gas prices have been falling over the past few weeks – with a handful of states seeing prices for regular grade below two dollars per gallon. The main reasons for this – because demand is slower during the holiday season. Patrick De Haan with Gas Buddy also says once the weather gets warmer again, prices will start to inch back up…

    

“I'm hopeful that we probably have about six weeks before we really start to get into the seasonal upward trend. So get your selfies with those ultra-low prices – in fact, now 11 states where some stations are below the two dollar a gallon mark. This probably will start to disappear as we talk about a eventual warmup in temperatures, as we get closer to spring.”
