At next week’s Board of Public Works meeting, funding for renovations at the Gordon Roberts House on Washington Street is expected to be approved. The Allegany County Historical Society is seeking $86,000 for interior and exterior renovations for the museum building located at 218 Washington Street.  Proposed work on the 158-year old building includes roofing, painting, gutters and downspouts, along with engineering and consulting services. The board will meet on June 11.
