West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey has announced a new $50 million dollar economic development initiative aimed at creating jobs and expanding opportunities for West Virginians. Called “Grow West Virginia,” Morrisey is starting the project with a $400,000 investment in Moorefield at Mettler Packaging that makes plastic and paper products for food and retail items…

   

“It’s going to include the construction of a new building, the purchase of new equipment. It’s going to not only retain 120 jobs there, after the expansion it will have at least 170 jobs there. This is great – that makes a big presence in that part of the state.”
