On 8/13/2018 at 2210 hours, troopers from the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barracks responded to CoGo’s BP Gas Station located at 1064 National Hwy, LaVale, Allegany County, Maryland, for a reported strong armed robbery. Investigating troopers learned an adult black male entered the store around 2200 hours and forcibly stole money. The suspect fled the area in a silver passenger vehicle via Rt. 40.
