The Cumberland Times News reports a locally-owned craft brewery will open in the Footer's Dye Works Building in March. Dig Deep Brewing COO Solomon Rose said Friday, told the newspaper that it will be a "one-of-a-kind thing to Cumberland." Dig Deep Brewing, a name Rose said represents the region's grit, will be located in a 3,800-square-foot space at the Footer. The space will allow for a large-scale 10 barrel system, something Rose said immediately opens up distribution opportunities.
