Maryland Will Stick With AAP Vaccine Schedule

The Centers for Disease Control announced it is changing childhood vaccine schedules and removing recommendations for several shots, including flu, COVID, and RSV. The move, reduces the schedule from 17 to 11, claiming it gives parents more control. Maryland’s Health Secretary announced the state would continue to follow the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule.
