West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey has signed the Power Generation and Consumption Act into law.  He signed the bill in Point Pleasant where a 2,000 acre data center campus is slated for construction, a type of project that Morrisey says the new law is designed to attract.

   

“We have a lot of competitive advantages. We have abundant resources like coal and natural gas and water. We have strategic locations for data security. We have a regulatory framework that’s second to none.”
