Five seniors from Mountain Ridge have earned the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. To receive this distinction, students must demonstrate proficiency in both Spanish and English across four key areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Each of these students completed four years of Spanish during their high school career. “We are incredibly proud of the dedication and perseverance demonstrated by each of these students,” said Joseph Brewer, Supervisor of World Languages for ACPS. “Mrs. Malec-McMillan has done an exceptional job of equipping her students with advanced language skills while fostering a deep passion for language learning.”
