A community leader in Mt. Savage and Allegany County has passed away.  Danny Williams died Friday at the age of 76.  Williams served 55 years at the Mt. Savage Volunteer Fire Department in many office positions, and as a firefighter and EMT.  He also served as president of the Mt. Savage Water Company and was active each summer at the Allegany County Fair and Ag Expo, making announcements throughout the evening.  Williams was a frequent caller to WCBC’s Dave Norman Morning Show.  Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Mt. Savage Volunteer Fire Department.
