Early morning vehicle accidents create a number of street closures Sunday. A tractor trailer crash prior to the crosstown bridge closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 68 from Vocke Road in LaVale to exit 43C for downtown Cumberland. Crash Investigation crews worked throughout the night and the road was reopened just after 7 a.m. Sunday. Fire crews responding to a second accident with injuries just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Park Street and East Union Street. Accident investigation crews conducted an investigation which had the street closed until prior to 8 a.m. Sunday.  A third motor vehicle crash Just before 4 a.m. closed all westbound lanes of Interstate 68, near Route 220 for approximately 1 hour as  emergency crews work the scene.
