New Year’s Resolution

It's called Dry January — the resolution taken up by lots many people to give up alcohol to start the new year. Emergency and Addiction Medicine Specialist Dr. Stephanie Widmer says the benefits of cutting alcohol are evident quickly. "There are some real research studies and real data to back up that some individuals report weight loss, lower blood pressure, and even biomarkers that are related to your liver health have also been reported to improve after this period of time."
