The main highway entering Ocean City will be closed from January 20th – February 3rd for repairs. Repair work needed on the Route 50 drawbridge means that drivers will have to go through Ocean Pines to access the beach town. The Harry W. Kelley Memorial Bridge is having repairs done to the mechanism that allows the bridge to be raised and lowered for boat traffic. Pedestrians will also be unable to use the bridge since it will be an active construction site.
