The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Belt Paving, would like to notify the public of the following overnight paving operations between Monday, September 8th and Thursday, September 11th. Paving operations will occur between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM.        
 
•         Oldtown Rd between Arch St and Virginia Ave: September 8th
•         Mechanic St between Baltimore St and Frederick St: September 9th
•         Fayette St between Luteman Rd and Green St & US 220 near Upper Potomac Industrial Park St: September 10th
•         Fayette St between Luteman Rd and Green St: September 11th 
 
Signage will be in place to detour passenger vehicles around the paving work during this overnight closure from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM each night. Traffic is expected to be fully restored after work is completed at 6:00 AM on each day. Additional information will be released in the event the paving operation needs to be extended. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
