Maryland’s attempt to grow revenue through increased fees is not sitting well with car owners. New vehicle registration fees have made Maryland the fifth most expensive state to own a vehicle.  Car fees of $120 per year are nearly twice that of neighboring Pennsylvania. Republicans in Annapolis say the increasing fees are literally driving people out of the state.
