The City of Cumberland Public Works Department will close Shades Lane between Oakland St. and the City Limits to through traffic from 8am to 3pm starting on Monday, October 27th. The road will be closed during these hours until work is complete. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday. During these hours the roadway will be closed to all through traffic except emergency vehicles. Access to properties in the area will be available but may be delayed while work progresses.
